Cemetary of the Factions

Asked to gather Shasta Daisies that only grow in the Faction graveyard, Charlotte took a heave sigh and walked past the rusted gates.

When you first come into the Cemetery, you will meet Glimmer.

Charlotte remember being told about the monsters and creatures that lurked in the shadows of the cemetery as she looked about the few graves near the entrance before coming across the glowing aura of who she hoped was Glimmer.

He will not let you find the right way at first, but  if you give him some coins or just be very kind to him he will let you go where you want or even guide you to your destination. Resist the temptation of trying to take any of his precious treasure, Glimmer has no tolerance for thieves in his domain 

the guard was not kidding about this as Charlotte tried to make small talk with glimmer to get the somewhat benevolent spirit to tell her the way to find any important monuments where she could find the herbs she was looking for...though finally after a long time of trying to persuade Glimmer, he told her a way to go, but was not specific on where she would end up. thanking Glimmer, Charlotte decided to follow the path in hopes she might run into patches of Shasta Daisies along the path


The next creature is anything but benevolent, she known to most only as the Cemetery Ghost.

it wasn't long down the path when Charlotte felt she was being followed, the smell of death pungent in the air now. the smell was growing stronger to the point it finally bothered Charlotte enough to make her confront the cursed spirit. she was face to face with a creature with no eyes to be seen...just a wide set of teeth glittering back at the young woman. taking no time to hesitate, Charlotte jumped back just as the ghost tried to grab her with those vicious claws.

Charlotte was not going to deal with this thing hunting her, immediately turning to run down the path, Charlotte summoned her battle disks and prepared to attack. it did not take long for the creature to catch up and try to grab her again, this time Charlotte retaliated with a blade slicing the beast's arm off cleanly. taking the final blow with one clean slice, the undead creature's head flew off hitting the ground before vanishing, and with that the conflict was over and Charlotte would be left in peace to continue.

if you have good fortune, you will see a white Mausoleum, it is the grave of the White Pawn Ninja

Charlotte stood before the Mausoleum, it's white marble not even aged a day. beautiful as ever, it was but a cage of the dead, with floor of marble, the dead can never return to the earth. Taking a deep breath, Charlotte slowly stepped into the monument. the darkness and silence were swallowing any light that came out from the moonlit night, the howling was all that echoed out from the pit inside, Charlotte thought she did not have a light till she remembered her disks. Smiling a bit she started to summon her disks only to leave it at the ritual stage, making the back of her hands into lanterns with white fire escaping from her hand marks.

this was a bit more then she had bargained for, but with her curiosity egging her on Charlotte continued on. after a moment of silence a white light started to grow in the center of the Mausoleum making Charlotte turn to focus on the ever benevolent spirit Ninja. and for one reason or another she felt a overwhelming feeling of awe and wonder as the structure's ceiling glimmered like stars in the night sky lighting the Mausoleum like a stage for the white spirit.

Nikolai and Ninja's story about their forbidden love and eventual decapitation as punishment is a rare tragedy among both factions , but a lesson you should learn from, they ever wise and now live beyond our torment.

Charlotte sat down and stayed to listen to Ninja's tale of the love they had with a black knight, how their love beyond ranks and beyond factions lives on even in their death, Charlotte smiled hoping one day maybe...just maybe there would be peace between the factions. her thoughts lingered on the thought before she realized how much time has passed. Charlotte bowed and thanked ninja for allowing her to listen to the tale, but before she could go, Ninja told Charlotte to hold her hands out. hesitant at first, the young girl obeyed and with a swirl of the hand, Ninja bestowed a small gift to Charlotte of a white broach that glimmered like stars. as much Charlotte wanted to stay, she had to find those herbs for the castle before she was missed.

on her way out, she noticed how the sky seemed so much more peaceful and serene, before looking to the ground and realizing the Mausoleum's court yard was now covered in Shasta Daisies. Charlotte was speechless for a moment before she smiled before gathering the daisies for medicine, and maybe some for the empty vase in the Queen's quarters Charlotte thought with a laugh. the yuong pawn even found a basket near the Mausoleum to take the daisies back to the castle in and finally get some sleep before a long day of work after dawn.
